Marc Faber : The Asian stock markets are not terribly expensive, certainly when
compared to the U.S. Over the last 18 months, the U.S. markets were up
25% to 30%. The Asian stock markets were down about 10%. So we have this
diverging performance. If you put a gun to my head, I would be tempted
to buy Asian stocks rather than American shares.
But with my view of the world, the Chinese slowdown, no growth in
Europe, hardly any growth in the U.S., and some symptoms of credit
tightening in the global economy, I don't think there is a hurry to buy
anything.
