The Asian Stock Markets are not terribly expensive compared to the U.S.

Marc Faber : The Asian stock markets are not terribly expensive, certainly when compared to the U.S. Over the last 18 months, the U.S. markets were up 25% to 30%. The Asian stock markets were down about 10%. So we have this diverging performance. If you put a gun to my head, I would be tempted to buy Asian stocks rather than American shares.
But with my view of the world, the Chinese slowdown, no growth in Europe, hardly any growth in the U.S., and some symptoms of credit tightening in the global economy, I don't think there is a hurry to buy anything.

Marc Faber is an international investor known for his uncanny predictions of the stock market and futures markets around the world.Dr. Doom also trades currencies and commodity futures like Gold and Oil.
